Bangladesh recorded a thrilling 3-point victory over Zimbabwe in the 28th match of the T20 World Cup 2022. Playing first, the Bangladesh team scored 150/7 in 20 overs, in response Zimbabwe did not could score only 147/8. Taskin Ahmed was named Player of the Match for his brilliant bowling.

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat but the team lost their first wicket with a score of 10. Soumya Sarkar was blessed without opening an account. The third ball got a pass and on the fourth ball Richard Ngarva raised hopes of victory by hitting a six but was puzzled on the fifth ball. On the last ball, Blessing Mujarabani tried to play a big shot but the wicket keeper caught the ball in front of the wicket and blocked it and it became a no-ball. However, Muzrabani could no longer enjoy the ball and the team lost the game. Burle took 27 steps. Taskin Ahmed and Mosaddek Hossain took three wickets each for Bangladesh.
