Afghanistan became the first team to be kicked out of the T20 World Cup, easily beaten by Sri Lanka – GJ MONEY TIPS


In the 32nd game of the T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan by 6 wickets and were eliminated from the tournament. Going first, Afghanistan scored 144/8 from 20 overs, in response Sri Lanka scored 148/4 with nine to spare. From there, there was a half-century partnership between Dhananjay de Silva and Charith Aslanka and the two took the score to 100. Aslanka returned to the clubhouse after scoring 19 points. Bhanuka Rajapaksa had an 18-point run. De Silva stayed until the end and only returned after giving his team the victory. He played an unbeaten 66 runs on 42 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes.
